Planning your time to take online assessment and quizzes:

Courses, where there is section assessment, must be completed before the final unit exam is open up. These quizzes are designed to test your understanding of the materials. Please note that you must have a score of 80% or better to pass. If you did not pass the quiz the first time, you will be able to take it immediately, however, If you did not pass the quiz the second time, the waiting period for a retake is 48 hours.

No system is 100% reliable so we suggest that before you attempt the final exams you avoid last-minute problems and make sure you have adequate internet as the final exams will only load one question per page. Make sure you have a quiet environment and to assist you to plan appropriately we have outlined the total number of questions in the assessment units and the final exam. Make sure you read the course overview document provided at the beginning of each course for this information. Before you start make sure you have completed all the unit requirements, so you are prepared.

  • The quiz questions are sequence is randomized and will change every time you click into the assessment or exam.
  • The Assessment questions and the Final exam will be presented one question at a time and does not allow backtracking, therefore make sure you take care when selecting your answer for each question.

On completion, assess your own progress. In the Quiz Navigation screen, you will be able to view your result and the questions you got incorrect. You will be given the chance to retake the exam again immediately, however, if you do not reach the 80% pass mark on the second attempt you will be required to wait anywhere between one to 24 hours before you can attempt it again.

 All the best.
