NEW LEARNING PORTAL - enter via fics.sport/dashboard

FICS has migrated all users to our new learning platform, which is faster and has updated content. We are excited to present you with this new and improved learning experience!

New platform: Lifter

Old platform: Moodle

Please login to the new system via https://fics.sport/dashboard/ where you will be prompted to set a new password.  

With the migration to any new system, there are some workarounds which we need to apply. Please note that COURSE information transferred with user data to Lifter, but Moodle does not allow for lesson completion data to be exported. This means that the new system will only reflect your fully completed modules, and does not reflect those which are only partially completed in Moodle. 

What this means if you have partially completed modules:

 If you are part-way through the completion of a module, your lesson progress will not have carried over to Lifter. The options here are:

1. You can continue your partially completed module on Moodle, which will remain active for 4 months to allow any user to complete any currently pending modules and download their certificate for that module. Once a module has been fully completed on Moodle, you can then start the remainder of your modules in the new system. That said, please note that there has been a reshaping of content in some modules, which is outlined below.
2. Lifter is a faster system, with a more advanced user experience. If you feel comfortable in knowing the course content, you can re-start your module in the new platform, marking any material you have already completed and move directly to the section quizzes, which are compulsory to verify your knowledge.  

ALL NEW COURSES AND MODULES should be taken in the new learning platform. You can access this via your dashboard at the top right-hand corner of the new website http://fics.sport

Please note there has been a reshaping of 3 modules as part of this new learning platform, and some of the material has changed. The changes are outlined for your reference below (though if you have already completed modules on Moodle, you will not need to re-take these modules again on Lifter. You can of course refresh if you choose to).

• Module 1, 2, 10 were updated with new content last year and the same information.  
• Module 4 (in Lifter) is a new module with ALL-NEW content  
• Module 5 (in Lifter) combines some of the content carried over from the old module 4 and new content.
• Module 6 combines some of the content carried over from the old module 4 and new content.
• The FICS education commission will now focus on updating the final four modules 3, 7, 8, and 9, with an expected completion date of December 2021.
• Module 8 has a new name however, the content is the same.
